Jon Gerson, President

Jon Gerson, President, was first exposed to Executive Solutions while filing resumes after school as a teenager. He first joined the business while on sabbatical from Rutgers University when he was twenty years old and became President in 2013 when Teri Gerson, President and Founder, retired after nearly 25 years serving the equipment leasing industry. Since joining the company Jon has spearheaded several strategic enhancements of Executive Solutions’ product offering, including the introduction of proactive out-of-industry recruitment with individualized training and a suite of Talent Advisory Services.

Jon, like Teri before him, believes Executive Solutions has earned its reputation as a premier national search firm by a continued commitment to focus on long term relationships with clients rather than simply making the next placement. His dedication to forming partnerships enables him to provide unmatched value to clients born of an understanding developed over years of working together. Having worked in executive search within equipment leasing for his entire professional career, Jon can capitalize on deep-rooted relationships within the leasing community and industry specialized knowledge born of two generations with a tradition of excellence.

Jon is an active member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, serving on the Membership Committee at various points since 2013 and on the Service Provider Business Council Steering Committee.  He is most proud of his work on the Emerging Talent Advisory Council from 2016-2020. He has also presented several times at the ELFA annual conference. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers while working full time as an executive recruiter.

Jon lives in Atlanta, GA, with his wife, Jessica, their daughter, and too many pets.
