To help handle and facilitate their growth, they are seeking a Credit Leader who is more than just an underwriter who checks the work of more junior underwriters. You will be tasked with providing strategic leadership for the credit department with an eye towards growing, rather than maintaining, their portfolio. You’ll work hand in hand with senior executive leadership to help set credit and risk policy, with responsibility for managing the day to day tasks of the department, training and mentoring your team, and getting involved in the more complex and detailed credit analysis.

Community Bank Equipment Finance Leader
Opportunity: This Southeastern Based Community Bank was founded over a hundred years ago, and has been building a lease portfolio for the last 15+ plus years. With their long time leader planning on retiring, they are proactively anticipating and managing for their succession plan by identifying the next leader of their equipment finance division. Reporting directly to the Chief Lending Officer of the bank, you will be responsible for increasing origination across a commercial & industrial platform as well as a muni platform, with an eye towards profitable and adaptable portfolio growth. While many community banks and regional players are re-trenching and withdrawing from growth, my client is looking to increase market share and stop flying under the radar.

VP Lease Administration
Opportunity: This is a “roll up your sleeves” opportunity to make a substantive and lasting impact for an operations department that does not contain a lot of “vanilla” or rote structures and transactions. You will handle a variety of industries, equipment types, and deal structures, requiring you to be adaptable, pro-active, and capable of handling complexity. Equipment includes IT, FF&E, Materials Handling, Ground Support Equipment, Medical, Manufacturing, Food production and many more. Some transactions will be take-downs on an existing line, others one off, and still others the establishment of new relationships.
This is not just a front office role, however, and you will be tasked with not just operational lease administration but more of the lifecycle through to funding and pitch hitting on the back end.
