They’ve built out most of their sales team, but are looking for seasoned, competent originators who have been in a start up environment. You’ll have free rein to originate larger transaction heavy asset essential use equipment throughout the midwest. Call directly, work with resellers, distributors and the used equipment market, or through OEM relationships. This is not blunt force originating–they need strategic sales people who can build a marketplace for a new entrant.

SLED / Higher Education Sales
Location: Anywhere
Opportunity: This 40 plus year independent is interested in consolidating its various state, local and educational sales opportunities across asset types and geographies into a dedicated sales role. You will work to identify and originate new transactions across private and public universities and state and local governments. This independent is equipment agnostic, and thrives with creative structuring, especially FMV and true lease. In addition to your own origination efforts you will be tasked with serving existing relationships within the space, ensuring you’re delivering specialized expertise to long term clients.

Asset & Portfolio Management

Opportunity: This growing independent needs a proactive contributor to assume ownership of the portfolio. Primarily focused on IT though increasingly generalist, you will be responsible for all facets of portfolio management from portfolio forecasting, setting residuals, tracking market pricing, coordinating with sales and other departments, and providing clarity about the health and direction of the portfolio. Support sales efforts in new and existing verticals, setting residuals, assisting in pricing, and underpinning every departments success. Actively manage the portfolio, supporting customers through mid-cycle upgrades or end of term returns or renewals. Opportunity: This independent is looking for aggressive, self-motivated sales people to build a book of business that falls outside of “cookie cutter” business attractive to banks. Use your expertise in an equipment vertical(s) to develop a book of repeat business. They win business by doing what the big banks can’t–not buy beating a competitor by 25bps. They will fund business from 15k to the millions.
